Don't know why but I'm finding myself looking and thinking about them, anyone have any experiences with them good or bad. Thanks in advance for any replies and regards Andy.

Best place to look or ask is in the discosport forum.

Driven them a few times as a courtsey car. Typically abut 4 days to a week at a time.

Practical but not as a 7 seater. I would rather go for the full size.

I owned one for a couple of years and had no problems of any note with it. The downside for me was that it was just too utilitarian inside, I've got to a stage in life where I want a bit of luxury. I haven't looked at the latest model, I hear that it now plusher inside.

all the best

RRS sold and replaced with a Skoda Kodiaq after appalling RR Dealer experience and LR inability to supply new cars in any sort of reasonable time frame..

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

I had an HSE D240 loaner on a 68 plate a few weeks ago and thought it very good. Engine was lively, interior a nice place to be, latest infotainment system was good and responsive but too reliant on the touch screen (common modern car fault). I liked the HUD although it doesn't adjust to account for taller drivers so it was close to the edge of the visible area for me.

Overall a decent vehicle. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I haven’t driven one but have been a passenger. More car like than a Vogue or Sport and you sit down into it rather than sitting up.

I had 8 months with a Velar after 6 Vogues and never really got on with it, poor visibility especially when abroad, not as comfortable as a Vogue or Sport and generally a smaller car.

having spent a lot of time in several Disco sports last year whilst STratsone Nottingham failed to do anything productive and then again in January while Duckworths provided there normal "nothing is too much trouble" service. I can categorically say that the New Disco Sport makes the old one feel like a right grot box.
The S1 feels like a ford fiesta on steriods in terms of build quality etc. the S2 car is actually worthy of being in the premium bracket 2012 SDV6 HSE (technically its hers)
2000 D2 TD5 - definitely mine
