Had software update on my MY19 SVR. One thing to address was the active exhaust switch.

Switch now working, but not sure if valves are opening to their fullest extent.

Grateful if anyone could post pics of their exhaust valves in the open position.

Just reviving this one as my car sometimes sounds loud with the exhaust button off and quiet with the exhaust button on !!

Was wondering if anyone had some pictures of what their cars looked like.

My understanding was that when the engine was warm the two outer exhausts should be completely closed to keep the sound level low and the two inner pipes have no valves in them, is this roughly correct?

Maybe they've just made the MY21.5 a bit louder than the MY19 cars, not sure.

Anyway anyone's thoughts would be cool. Non JLR Vehicle

I actually had the rear boxes changed under warranty earlier in the year. Always hard to tell especially from inside the car, but I think on balance the car does sound louder with the button on.

Incidentally, the valves do not open fully on the new boxes either. The dealership says this is correct? But who knows for sure! Range Rover Sport SVR - Santorini Black
