Brembo Colour Paint

Hi guys,

Anyone know where I can get the same colour paint as the standard red Brembos?
My rears need re-painting.

Cheers!!!

New Zealand 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Santorini Black

I looked into this some time ago as my old S/C rears wanted doing, it's a shame TRW didn't powder coat theirs's the same as Brembo, but probably L/R trying to save a few quid. Apparently Fiat Tiziano Red (199a) is a very close match, if you could get any mixed in high temp paint. Unfortunately Brembo don't appear to release a paint code for their colour unless any one has managed to find it.

Cheers

Hi Col, long time no speak.

I was thinking of getting that paint and using high temp laqure.
Getting it in high temp paint would be hard. As you say, pitty TRW didn't do powder coat

Hi Buddy yeah still around, I did buy some Foliatec Rosso Red as looked a quite close match, but as per normal never got around to doing it.

P.S. Tailgate mod still going strong.

Cheers

Apologies for resurrecting this old thread, but it seamed the easiest way to ask the question. It's often stated that the colour match for red Brembos is Fiat Tiziano Red (199a), and it does look a close match, but not with the original Brembo's that appear on Land Rovers.

This appears to be a darker red, and was wondering if anyone knows of the best match:

Hi ya,

I re-painted mine with the "Audi lazer red" closest to the brembo red i have found and this is the AMG C63 and RRS i have owned.

Halford did sell the same colour. 2018 SVR

International Japlac Signal Red used to be recommended, however it appears it is no longer available. I have used Hammerite Smooth Red with good results and a fair match (painting rears to match the front) MY17 RRS 4.4d V8 Autobiography - Aintree Green (also referred to on Topix as British Racing Green)

If your car is still under manufacturers warranty they will replace them. Had mine replaced twice.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll give both the colours a try because unfortunately I'm out of warranty.

I had already ordered the Fiat colour as previously recommended, amd have filled some of chips, then wet-sanded and then polished. Doesn't look too bad, but the colour is somewhat lighter.
