2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Rimini Red

L320 bonnet help

Hi all. The bonnet on the L320 has the lacquer peeling off in a severe way and I’ve had two quotes of 1k and 1.2k to repaint it along with a sort of bodywork tidy up.
So, I thought I would see if I could source a 2nd hand bonnet and sling it on depending on the condition of course.. The colour is 889 Rimini red. Has anyone got or does any know of one available anywhere?
Is a Discovery or normal Range Rover bonnet the same? And what year can I go up to - mine is an 05.
So I can widen my search..

Ok. I’ve found one on eBay that has ‘a few scratches’. Hmm.. Anyway, the guy didn’t know the paint code but I have the vin number. Is it possible to get a paint code from that?

1.2k to repaint a bonnet..

Remember speaking to a body shop last year. He quoted just over £200 per panel as an estimate. Panel ie dpor, bonnet, taolgate, wing, bumper etc. And bonnets are easy
.big flattish surfaces..no windows etc.

Agree. A tad expensive. I’ve found one from a 2009-2013 sport. Will that fit on an 05?
