I got the vehicle raising in progress message after changing my compressor too. Turns out pressing the button a few times makes it very slow. Give it a while to fill the gallery with pressure and then try raising it again. |

I left the car idling on access mode until the compressor shut off (couple of minutes) then tried again, still the same. Back goes up but the front is slow, and the slow to raise message. 55 plate

Leave it in off road height over night and see if you get any corners dropping that should eliminate any leaks on the bags, if thats ok then you might have a blockage or partial blockage some where. |

Could try cleaning and servicing the valve blocks. They sometimes get a bit sticky. |

You most likely have an internal leak via the exhaust valve - might be cracked open allowing air out via the exhaust port - that should have been replaced as part of the rebuild. Have you cleaned the main valve block? 07MY RRS TDV6 Arctic Frost Aspen Interior |

Is that the one on the dryer,? as i replaced that cap with an aluminium one. I had the full kit from 8xr. The dessicant in my dryer was white and a lot of powder in there as well, so i thought i had found my problem. Everything seemed to go well, i took my time and everything went back in as it came out, plus new seals.

No it is the exhaust valve that allows the air out of the system - it is a pressure relief valve so is normally closed and as air needs to be exhausted the pressure pushes the seal open against spring pressure and the air leaves the back of the compressor.

jumped in the car today and suspension worked perfect almost all day. Then it started playing up again, so definately a sticky valve somewhere 55 plate

You need to get the suspension codes read and take things from there. 07MY RRS TDV6

there's no codes, no lights bongs nothing. Just the suspension slow to rise message. Sometimes it's fine other times the front is slow to rise with the message, even if the compressor has run and shut off. 55 plate

So you have put a code reader on the OBD2 port and got no codes. If you are getting a slow to rise message then you most likely it is not the compressor as it would through up a code - if there are no codes you have a small leak in your system - will most be related to the tank.

Yes i have a hawkeye code reader for the sport and no codes. Sometimes it acts normal other times not. I have left the suspension up for 2 days and nothing drops so the struts are ok. Had wondered about the tank, but sometimes i can go to it when it has been sitting for a couple of days and it goes straight up to normal height. That's why i originally ruled out the tank, as there was obviously enough air stored in the system to inflate it. I have checked around the tank with soapy water and can't see anything, but as you know the top where they usually go is inaccessible on the car. Will have another look when the weather is better. 55 plate
