United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
Door lock.

Grrr! My sons 2007 TDV6 has finally gone! Only problem is that it came back because front passenger door wouldn't open from inside or outside! I removed the external lock cover and tried the key but the movement didn't feel right, it felt like the key would snap! I played about pulling the internal handle for a bit and eventually it opened! It felt like it only just opened at full extent of travel so thought the cable might be at fault. Removed door panel and taped glass up and removed actuator. After investigation, it became apparent that the cable from the external handle to the actuator was not operating correctly. Where it locates in a hook on the top of the handle, there is a black plastic ferrule type object that creates the tension on the cable that was broken. Solved!!! Put it all back together and came inside to order a cable with the intention of fixing next weekend.
SCHOOLBOY ERROR!!! I didn't connect the internal handle cable so i cannot open the door at all now!

The key will not operate the lock.
The cable from the external handle to actuator is broken so cannot open with that.
I didn't connect cable to internal handle so cannot use that!
Help!!! Has anybody got any ideas please?
Can i remove the door card with door closed and seat in situ? If this is possible, i might be able to get something to operate the cable on the actuator through the window aperture once the window winder mechanism is moved to right?
