Do you have any means of reading the error codes from the vehicle? --

There is a pivot where the cable goes into the gearbox, on the right hand side from memory. Although its behind an undershield, it is exposed to muck and water and stiffens up preventing gear selection. If it is this, jack it up, take off the shield, spray with a penetrating oil, or something like WD40, and work it till it frees off. Then spray with a silicone spray. This will get you going till you can replace it, fairly cheap part. |

Hi its an electronic gearbox so not a pivot or anything sticking landrover assist says its something to do with communication to tell it to go in gear it happened a few months back and the AA came out to recover it and took it to landrover dealer who said when I collected it that they couldn't find anything wrong as it was fine when they went to diagnose it ?

Hi again. I asked AA and they sent me the call out report, which includes the fault codes. It may not be too late to get yours.
