My 2007 2.7 TDV6 has a tendency to loose power every now and then. No real pattern but very unnerving! The restricted message pops up and i have to pull over and switch ignition off then on again and all is well until the next time. I had the codes read and i think it was P0117E, fuel pressure fault?

Apologies, it was P117E - Fuel volume regulator control exceeded minimum controllimit. |

If I recall correctly from when I had my 05 2.7tdv6 Disco 3...the high pressure fuel pump is at the back of the engine. Requires removal of auxiliary belt.and associated pipe/s unbolt the old and bolt on the new one, reconnect pipe/s and aux belt. The labour was reasonable..at around £120 or so..( I am talking almost 8 years ago)...but the high pressure fuel pump was expensive at just over £800...though again that was in 2012. Mine had to be replaced due to leak. Hope u get it sorted. |
