Range Rover Sport Engine Seized NEED HELP !

I need some help on what to do

I purchased a 2014 Range Rover Sport Autobiography with 65,000 miles at the start of this year from a private dealer and purchased an extended 36-month warranty and have only driven it 5,000 miles and the service was due so I took it into a JLR Service Garage and go the Full Service done for around 600pounds after this service I decided to go to Germany and whilst on the motorway driving normally the car made a sound and shut off luckily I manage to pull over and then I tried restarting the engine and nothing was happening then a gearbox fault sign came on the dashboard i got the car towed to a JLR approved workshop to have the problem diagnosed they said there is a major engine fault and the engine will need to be opened in order to find out however its most likely the engine has been seized . I then decided to call the dealership I bought the car from and explained to them what happened and the said the warranty does not cover you outside the UK and the car will need to be transported back to them so I complied with them and got my car transported back to them after 3 weeks of investigation they said the car needs a new engine however it will not be covered under the warranty as the car broke down in Germany after being told this I decided to contact my solicitor and they wrote a letter to the dealer then they said they are going to investigate further and I am still waiting for a reply they have no had my car for over a month and are saying because of clause 12 in our terms and conditions it says "all claims must be made in the united kingdom " and because of this we do not cover you the car has a full LR and 70,000 miles do you think anything can be done the court battle will be too much of hassle for me and cost are astronomical is there a way LR can replace the engine because it is a common fault and ive seen alot of people complaining on alot of forums i just need advice on how to proceed .

i will attach pictures of the terms and conditions and please note i bought the prestige plus warranty

"all claims must be made in the united kingdom " does not say that the damage must happen in the UK

That’s exactly what I tried explaining to them but they don’t seem to understand and just say our warranty department keeps rejecting the claim there is nothing we can do

Your warranty is an insurance product. There is an ombudsman if the local complaint faults to resolve the situation, which will be cheaper than court. RRS MY17 SDV6 AB

Sorry if this sounds basic but I know that many people don't check. Do you have legal insurance either on your car or household insurance? This is likely to pay for a Solicitor and if needed a Barrister for a hearing.

If not (believe me I don't litigate lightly) it is relatively simple to start proceedings yourself, the Citizens Advice will help you with the forms.

Either way, I hope that you get a good result.
