I took my L494 2019MY HSE Dynamic Diesel into my local LR dealer on Wednesday morning for its 2nd Year Service. Very pleased to say I have had no problems whatsoever with this vehicle from new - which is more than can be said for the Sport it replaced that unfortunately had to be formally rejected due to issues that could not be resolved!

Anyway the Service Advisor told me that the software would need to be be updated as part of the service - and now the problems have started!!! Apparently the update has failed and has corrupted the system?? The dealer is in touch with Land Rover Technical to try and resolve the issues but 3 days later my Sport is still in hospital.........I have a Discovery Sport as a Courtesy Car, due to be replaced on Monday with a loan RRS from Land Rover, so it looks as if my car is not coming home anytime soon.

Has anyone else suffered significant issues when having their software updated??
