Whats going on ????

I was bidding on something - due to end Thursday 5th 9.30pm[ish] I was the top bidder at £330 and had been consistently.......... also had a much higher hidden bid!

I went to check things tonight - but the item has gone - ???

The seller was legit. with 100% feedback

I have emailed the seller - but ........... not happy

How can they have somethin in auction & then remove it - or did ebay remove it

Will have to wait for response from seller now

The seller has contacted me via ebay & I have just emailed them [ her ]back for an explanation?? I was buying theatre tickets - I guess ebay may have removed ??? I will wait and see/advise later.

Be careful MDP - Some sellers remove items only then to contact the bidders and offer the items in a private sale. The buyer is not now covered by ebay/paypal. This is a well known scam! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

I know - worse thing is this ebayer doesn't use Paypal at all - has over 297 positive feeback 100% and is registered under 2 different names as well. Both appear OK - checked with previous customers/buyers.

Way round it is to pay on credit card - that way protected somewhat

Ok - update - It's Mrs MDP's 40th I was def bidding on theatre tickets

However the seller emailed me saying they had have several private offers - so withdrew them from ebay - they still have them in hand and i was invited to submit my best offer - I replied you will never know now having withdrew them from ebay.

Hope they've shot themselves in the foot
