Hi All. I have the dreaded hydraulic oil leak. Not major just now but the MOT is due in a month so needs fixed. So far been quoted £1200 plus VAT to supply and fit. These guys have done this many times before so I'm pretty comfortable with that. Shame it's not covered by the warranty I have. Anyway, dumb ass question, as this isn't gonna get fixed this week, where do I top up the fluid and what kind of fluid should I use. There's no dash board message yet and I'd like to keep it that way. I'd rather keep it topped up and nurse it through the next week or so.

When standing in front of the engine bay, looking in, the reservoir is on the left in front of the air filter box. You need LR cold climate PAS fluid. Can be sourced from LR dealers or the usual online sources. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
