Is there a dynamic mode on the terrain response button (looks like a twisty road)? If yes, then it has variable dampers. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I thought the dampers were not variable but the dynamic response system provided variable roll bar effect. 07MY RRS TDV6

Build spec. on my 5.0L S/C say Continuous Variable Damping which I believe was standard on the S/C not sure about other models though, actualy has label on the damper its's self saying CVD.

In the facelift they went to variable dampers as well as the hydraulic anti roll bar. Which is great on road but not on the pocket as the dampers are >twice the price. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

It does have the dynamic "twisty road" setting and is the face lift version (the one with the round shift selector that raises on starting.).

You can't miss what you haven't had. Having had the hydraulic ARB on both of my RRS, I must say I like it. Never driven an RRS without it but have driven Disco without it and it was noticeable on twisty roads. The variable damping is noticeable in dynamic mode but I could live without it having not had it on my previous RRS. What I'm not keen on is the silly round gearbox selector on the facelift. Much preferred the stick on my old one. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

As above, I love my hydraulic ARBs. It keeps the vehicle nice and level when cornering at speed. It also allows the ARBs to be decoupled when off road for better wheel articulation.

My mechanic reckons it's the pump cos of the error code. It does run, sounds noisy to me, not sure if that's normal?

What issue are you having and what is the error code? Kev

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I am being asked the same question by the guys at GAP as I have an issue with my Ride Level Module.

If I remember correctly have a look at the top of the front or rear damper under the wheel arch, if you see a electrical wire coming out of the damper you have it if no wire you don't.
