United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

It's a 3.0 Col, so it's a facelift, MY2010.

If the OP 's car is a early Facelift MY10/11 variant the only people that can update the Sat Nav map is a Dealer, it can not be updated via a DVD Disc, Memory Stick or hidden menu, MY12 on can be done with a memory stick.

Cheers

^^^this has always been the impression I have been under.

Even MY2012s are only upgradeable to a certain point. They will always be out of date, as stated above by Robin.

Google Maps with live traffic is the way forward! Kev

That lower picture is not a early facelift screen even without the buttons, the earlier one's with the HDD look like this picture, if the menu boxes are rectangle as opposed to the curved style ones shown it will be the 2.1 gen system

MY12 cars have the 2.1 gen. system and was used until MY16 RRS2 vehicles it then changed to Gen. 3 InControl system if I remember correctly, you can however buy a legitimate 2020 map update memory stick for the 2.1 system from Here navigation formerly Navteq for £169.00 or alternatively shall we say a aftermarket version much cheaper.

Actually Col is it a screen with a HDD. MY10/11 that has been fitted to an early car.

When powered to the menu it has the menu buttons exactly as per your pic.

It was a pic I could get my hands on quick to show the logo

Ah, that's what confused me as it's the pre-facelift dash and they never had the HDD although the hard drive isn't actualy in the screen it's in the CD/DVD player or IAM unit I think they call it, or at least the navigation side for the MY12 is.

No, just read it is in the Touchscreen on MY10/11, bit sad I know but that's what comes of having to much time on your hands. Laughing
