My last sport went back to finance company in May it had 43k miles on it and had more than enough tread for another 10k easily according to the service report don in feb so to answer your question I woudnt look past these tyres!

I've just completed a transformation back to Pirelli Scorpion Zero and very pleased so far albeit I find them noisier on some road surfaces than the previous tyres.

OH - and another thing, if you use Black Circles just check that the tyres are not nearly out of date. It seems that they do cut it fine on some occasions. My local STS Tyre Pros say they can't compete with Black Circles but for my tyre size they beat Black Circles without me having to push them at all. Robin

Tyreleader are also good, but check over a few days as they can vary. Don’t go straight past kwikfit though, they can be reasonable on line, offers on now if you you need two or more

I have them fitted to my RRS and Discovery Commercial, and to be honest can't imagine anything beating them for wear or grip in both the wet and dry.

I’ve just replaced 5 x Pirelli Scorpion Zeros on my New Defender with 5x Wrangler Duratrac’s from KwikFit, using the mobile service done on my drive. Only one problem was the mobile fitter couldn’t balance the new 20’s in the machine in his van as the balancing machine had been fitted about 2mm too close to the van side.......... so do check if using their mobile service that they can handle 20” or bigger tyres in the van. It was the first thing the fitter told me when he arrived and he had already booked me a slot at the KwikFit Depot in Stirling for lunchtime the next day. They were the best price although they didn’t say online that my local depot had only 2 x 20” Duratracs in Scotland and the other 3 were being shipped up from a depot in Maidstone! They also gave me the full discount from my professional organisation I’m a member off that made them the cheapest supplier by quite a long margin. Very happy with the mobile service.
