The remote device I invented. Its fitted in the boot and takes about 20 min to fit. It overrides the system so the valves fully open, rather than the t% they open normally.

Yeah exactly. I had the remote kit for about 3 months before I had the exhaust done. Almost didn't as I liked the sound the remote was doing and was worried the exhaust mod would end up sounding like a boy racer. Luckily it didn't lol.

I’ve got a similar set up on my focus RS,they come with a valve on the exhaust & I purchased a system from from this company so I can open & close the valve whenever I want to.

I’m not sure the wiring/plug will be the same,but I’m sure it can be made to work,iifc their is 3 wires in the loom for this remote.They revert to closed when the ignition is turned off which is good for early morning starts then when I’m off the estate I then open the valve. Andy.

Thanks fella I may have to ask around at my local garage see if their happy to try and adapt that set up and as you say in principle should do the same job with little reworking to the leads. MY18 SCV8 Satin flux silver
