I'd be asking them to come and take it back... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I've raised with them they seem really good i just like try know what it could be. My old car had a leak you could climb in the engine bay to look where this thing i cant even get an arm in lol its insane

Hi mate id say more black with a brown tint

If i went off smell alone I'd say oil

Steering oil maybe

I've checked normal oil level and its defo full still of it was steering are we talking a rack on Hathese i know nothing as this is first day having one

Rack, bottle and pump are all in that area

Sadly I've tried to get it back and no joy I took to a garage who said whole body has to come off and they wont do it so I've lost 8 years of saving up to get a range rover and nothing left and no one to help so I'm going to have to sell it as unroadworthy and get a normal cheap car

Did you buy this from a garage or car trader? If so, they can't just refuse to deal with it. They are legally responsible. If they won't play ball then go speak to Trading Standards for a start. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Yea was a trader there saying if its unsafe they cant collect it and no one round here will do it in wales they said they would pay the garage who does the work but no one will agree to that in wales

But
was the Garage who sold you the car , Part of any Affiliation eg AA.
i would have thought it is up to them to get it to a garage to be fixed .
but i am sure there are members of this forum , who can advise a good Indie in wales
which could work in your Favour Rather than have a regular mechanic attempt a repair
