tried this fix today since was on a long trip. No droop outs. Reset for local grandad taxi duties and fault had returned.
Seems to be effective.

Mine started cutting out a few weeks ago. Audio dropped out for a couple of seconds and accompanied by a short "static click". On two occasions we have lost all sound, which returned after a shut down. Does this sound like the problem that others are experiencing?

Cheers!

Thanks Ady. I shall phone GS in the morning and get "on the list". As I have no intention of moving to the USA and watching their wonderful "TV", a software update is the preferred option!

Thumbs Up

Has anybody managed to get LR to fix this yet? Phoned my dealer who told me there was a fix but only for 'newer' cars - mine is 37 months old. Am I to presume that because I am now over the 3 year mark Land Rover will abandon owners with the design fault in their cars meaning I can either have an operational entertainment system and no tv (by tuning it to the US frequency to overcome the fault) or TV and an entertainment system that continually cuts out.

After ten plus years of LR cars I am sick to death of the s@@t customer service since buying the RRS. It is just one s&&t fight after another with them all because they are unable to design and build reliable cars and then stand up, accept responsibility and fix problems which are blatantly a result of their own corner cutting!

I have the same problem but don’t have a tv setting, the radio is fine until I start the engine then cuts in and out! Does anyone know a way to address this problem without the tv setting?
