Can I just whack in a set of the sexy 2013 front/rear lights into a 2006 body without needing to swap wings or anything? or would they need retrofitting as well?

No, to swap the headlights you will need wings, bumper, grille etc. the rear lights are a straight swap but you will need to fit resistors to the indicators or the will flash to fast basically. That is of course assuming you are referring to a 2013 RRS1 if a 2013 RRS2 then nothing will fit.

the rear LED lights don't have reflectors in them. So they really should be added to the bumper like the later models have
