Thanks for explaining that. I have never taken GAP and had thought it was more sophisticated than that.

I don't think that non disclosure of gap will work. All insurance companies seem to talk to each other nowadays as its a computer world out there. Years ago you had to get proof of no claims sent to you so you can let your new company see the document. Now its a couple of keystrokes to find out all about you. It can be an expensive lesson if your found out. You don't have to volunteer that you have gap but if they ask the question. |

Seriously? You’ve bought an SVR and are risking either not getting a full payout or, worse, committing insurance fraud and having no cover at all if you have an accident and or kill someone - and all for the sake of saving a few quid??!! If money’s that tight you should sell the SVR and run something you can afford to insure. |

Your getting into a minefield here. All insurance companies have access to the same database, so you will be on a sticky wicket if the worse happens. For example you used to supply proof of no claims, now they just check your details |

I’ve got a week old SVR 2020 reg, just paid £812. Well pleased it’s only £170 more than my 2015 RRS Diesel Autobiography. Insured for £105k list price |

Personal experience of GAP insurance, arranged through the company who provided the finance for the truck.

Who is best depends on where you live, age etc. So what is good for one person is rubbish for another.

Also bear in mind the word ( London and SVR ) do not go down well together with insurance companies. The Range Rover Sport is one of the top most cars stolen in London. |
