LR Experience West Country

Finally got round to doing our complimentary LR Experience days in Devon (almost 3 and 4 years after buying the cars). Social distancing meant you got the car to yourself and followed the instructor with the help of walkie-talkies.

I took my wife and daughter and we had an Evoque and RRS between us - we could swap drivers when we wanted. The instructor was in a Disco and there were a couple of other instructors testing their new, just arrived, Defenders. We were the only customers there, after they had just re-opened. Now hotels and restaurants are opening today I think they will get busier quickly.

We all enjoyed it, even my wife who was very apprehensive beforehand. The staff were very good. Learned a few things about the cars as well as taking them places mine are never likely to venture.

Yes - I thought the West Country LR Experience staff were very good - even when I scraped their brand new RRS on a rock. Embarassed Robin

Looks like you had a good day Thumbs Up

I need to get down there one day. I quite fancy one of their trek days. Kev

I've met the instructors down there a couple of times - once a day's off road tour they ran and once at Beaulieu when they were running the little off road trail there. Nice guys who are enthusiastic about the vehicles. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
