Why isn't this connected and what is it for!!! One out of four on top of TDV8 engine.

Thanks for info, not decremental to car then still trying to find out why Oil light comes on and shortly afterwards HDC suspension fault. Tried changing brake switch out today with no avail as suggested on a number of forums. pulling my hair out on these two issues.

Oil light faults are an issue in the v6. Not linked to hdc though

At £4.00 for a new oil pressure sensor might be worth sticking a new one in to eliminate that, fitted in front of R/H head if I remember correctly on the TDV8 but stand to be corrected on that one.

Next on my hit list, cheap fix hopefully it is intermittent not on all the time but a worrying one oil light on dash
LH cylinder head is it’s home.

If you are sure the engine is ok
You could disconnect the oil sensor for a day and see if it still comes on.
Could point to a wiring or dash issue which isn’t unknown

if only i could find it, does anyone have any clear pics to location.
