I purchased one 3 years ago when I first had a range, to enable climate control, then it sat in the safe for a couple of months until I had an error.

I bought it from their website. Paid £400. For me the closest indie charges £50 an hour. So this would so I think enough trips would warrent it. Plus I want to enable Canada style DLR and whatever else I can mod |

Yeah, I "umm'ed and ahh'ed" about buying one for a bit, but then thought that one stiff bill from the indy, more than covers the expense. For example if you need a new height sensor, it's an easy DIY job costing just what you pay for the sensor, with the IID Tool, or a trip to a specialist costing £???!.

I must say though that my Icarsoft unit has accurate and invaluable since I got my RRS, for the money it’s great.

Yes, icarsoft LR2 is what I had before my IID. Good for price but IID is more user friendly, bluetooth and app driven. No dangling lead Visitor from fullfatrr.com
