Battery Drain

Bought a used 2014 Sport it came with a new Yuassa 5 year warranty battery AGM 850 Amps
Is this the correct 1 please
they said that they had programmed the battery to the car can this cause issues if its not done
I have now had an indie program it
i have suffered with flat batteries every 4 days since a Tracker was fitted
I have now disconnected the Tracker and after 20 mins the drain is between 0.014 and 0.038 just fluctuates between the 2 figures the car is locked and alarmed
Is this an acceptable figure
Thanks

I had this on an older rrs a 2 yr old battery and i left an obd connector connector and forgot about and when i came back to it a week later she was totally flat (i dot use the car much) so i charged it up and all seemed fine for a while but after a few short trips around town and then back home the next day it was flat again alt was fine as 14v whilst is was running but i think it only had about 350 amps so not enough to start it, lucky i had the receipt and got it swapped over under warranty

It might be a new battery but if its second car it may have bee stood around for months not being used and what with all the alarm and sensors (also intouch if it fitted) could be that it has gone flat and its screwed the battery. I would speak to the person you bought it from and ask for the receipt so you can get it swapped out, a tracker or the other tech shouldnt drain it that quickly, unless there is something else that is not shutting off that is causing the drain.

Good luck If a jobs worth doing, get a someone who knows what they are doing to do it!

Thank you for your thoughts
The Battery itself checks out fine
I have a pretty good knowledge and access to Autologic there are a number of influences causing this issue
the Handbake ECu is cycling after a couple of hours resulting in a spike of 3 amps dropping to 300 millamps
sometimes things work great and the drain is only 20 milliamps
I have taken the decision to use my main dealer rather than an independent on this occasion
Will post the out come it is a very odd issue

Use a good Auto electrician. Main dealer is a waste of time as I kept getting "Low battery, start engine" message. Main dealer said there was nothing wrong, use the car more (very technical) Took it to Auto electrician who diagnosed a parasitic drain & had the car for 3 days until he found it. Not working on the car for 3 days, as they tried something, let the car go to sleep then see if that was it, so bill was not as horrific as it first sounded. Auto electrician is the way to go, horses for courses.
