Make sure you have the right one as the bumper cameras are virtually identical visually, only they don't have the approach light in them.

The earlier system cameras are very unreliable and often fail. LR brought out filters to help with the image and overlay wires to fix the wiring but they were so poor they changed to another much more reliable and cheaper camera in 2014 MY cars. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)
