Cameras problem

Hi,
I have issues with the cameras fitted to my car, only 2 of the five seem to work. The two in the wing mirrors just show a grey screen and the drivers front says "no signal"...what are likely to be the causes? Gone but not forgotten, 2005 RRS SC first edition, BMW 2010 Z4,TVR Tamora, TVR Cerb, MERC SL 55 AMG, E46 M3, Z4, Jag S type R, Skyline R33 GTR 640 bhp, Evo FQ 400, L322 RR, X5, Lotus Esprit V8 twin turbo, Lotus Elise 135r, Nissan Murano, Honda S2000, 911, Boxster s...and a few more

I had the surround camera harness replaced in mine a couple of years ago with the same issue. No issues since replacement.

Certainly worth trying.
Worth letting them know there is a tsb so they don’t try it on

How much did that cost?


I have always had a LR warranty, they really tried to fob me off saying they couldn't replicate so I'm assuming LR Warranty pushed back on it. When I filmed it and showed them the video they agreed to replace it but unsure if it went through warranty or LR.

If you look under your front passengers seat you should find one of these, could start by making sure the connectors are all fully home. I did have a stone smash a front camera lens so when I had the front bumper off I did replace the front bumper harness at the same time as I had had a occasional fault come up saying "no signal" previous which cured the problem. Not sure about the mirror cameras as never had any problems with those but as it's both mirrors I would think the problem is nearer the control module otherwise it would be two harnesses that have failed as they are separate co-ax looking cables which each have 4 wire in them to all five cameras and even those are joined in different places, just out of interest do your puddle lights work as they are a integral part of the camera on the surround camera system.

I think this is the overlay kit that L/R refer to, whatever that does. If you google LTB00430NAS3 that also gives part numbers of the individual overlay kits for the different cameras on the Sport/D4 as well as which colour is which camera i.e. white plug front left, black plug front right assuming UK is same as NAS.

No to sure but the puddle light is part of the camera, so wondered if they are not working if the cameras are actualy powering up.
