England 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Santorini Black
Headlights Lens replacement.

Hi there,

I couldn't find a definitive answer looking through the forum so thought I'd start a new post.

My 2005 RRS headlight lens are badly dull and clouded but on the inside! I had a guy pop out last year to restore the lens, which of course he did on the outside but he explained he couldn't get to the inside.

My question is, does anyone know where I can get just replacement lenses, so I don't have to buy a whole headlight unit unnecessarily on ebay please.

Thanks.

Try asking Powerful UK. They do a replacement glass for the 2010- RRS. They might be able to help with one for the 2005-2009 version. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Hi there.

I asked them already but they said they don't supply for 2005 to 2009.

Hello mate.

Just found site called www.brookwell.co.uk it looks like they sell the lenses but jist for range rover. Might be worth asking if they do sport too. That's what I'll be trying anyway.

I have looked into this and no one sells just the polycarbonate headlight cover for the earlier RRS. Be aware that there are headlight protectors that go on the outside of the light and some people think these are the covers but they are not.

The cover can come away from the headlight housing with hair dryer type heat so you can take the cover off and get it polished from the inside - you will still need to spray on UV sealer to stop the discolouring coming back.

The D3 guys had a thing about de-tangoing the head lamps and as usual, someone did a write up about separating the lamps;

I didn't bother on mine but you can with a bit of work get into them.
