I don't think the 4.4 n/a sold very well so they dropped it quite quickly. Not sure these are exact figures but the 4.4 was around 295bhp and 425Nm of torque, the 4.2 S/c was 385bhp and 550Nm of torque.

get the 4.2 sc. can defo recommend the crap out of it haha. but then again if you can afford it get the 5.0L because mpg figures are similar |

id fancy trying the TDV8 if this one ever dies for the mpgs and not having to faff around with the lpgness. But it seems the turbos make it slightly too risk |

TDV8 turbos aren't the time bomb that some suggest: it's more a case of how they're treated by previous owners. And even if they do fail, a couple of grand gets you back on the road again.
