Line o/p converter - subwoofer

hi guys I have a 2016 RRS with standard factory audio system. I want to add more bass and use a sub woofer with built in line o/p converter connected off one of the existing mid-range speakers. However they are all door mounted which would be a nightmare to connect. Anyone done this before who could advise best approach? How accessible is the factory installed amp?
