I have got a 2007 RRS TDV8. It has the factory head unit and factory sat nav installed. But doesnt have dvd player or tv. I want to have freeview tv, option to insert memory stick for films, reverse camera and dvd player. Ive briefly read about the GVIF units and want to know whats needed to install this equipment?

Can i use the antennas that are already installed in the rear windows?
Where can i get a reasonably priced GVIF from?
Will the reverse camera switch on automatically when i put it into reverse?
Will i switch over the various inputs through the usual screen with navigation, 4 x 4 info etc?

Sound like a gvif is good for you.
Yes reverse camera is automatic
Yes you can play video thru front screen

Dunno how you can use a usb stick though

Best to use separate arials

Aliexpress sell's them if you can wait and to change inputs there is a small button you fit it is small so can go quite close to screen

Some of them connect to the private CAN and therefore the nav button will cycle thru the 3 inputs and nav
