Amber lean light

Hi all

After a few months hassle free ,apart from.new battery, we have the above !!!! Came on about 5 weeks ago, then vanished ! Came back yesterday ,whilst driving straight?! Have checked if sensor was clean ,connections etc , all ok, anyone know if it can be tested, or where else to look, suspension holds up fine !
Thanks in advance

I would get the fault codes read.

Have you checked your DSC fluid level? Kev

You could try recalibrating your steering angle sensor. This has been known to cause this issue if everything visually looks okay. Kev

Could be air suspension

Need someone with a
Decent code reader as just guessing otherwise

I think fluid level is red light anyway

Was hoping to avoid garage, can the sensors be checked at all?

You'll also need a tool to calibrate your steering angle sensor. As Andy says though, we are just shooting in the dark without the codes.

Andy, I thought the amber light refers to the DSC only. It is also illuminated for air suspension faults too is it? Kev

Press dsc button and you will see

I can't really remember as it was along time ago I had my pre-facelift, but I think the pre-facelift may have had a different icon for the DSC Switch/Warning lamp to the facelift variant

Cheers

That would probably explain my confusion then Col. I know the amber light is usually accompanied by the 'vehicle lean when cornering' message which was why I assumed this was DSC related. This must just be for the facelift variant. Kev

So it appears its a possible connection issue causing the light as it comes and goes, has had reader on it ,and showed no faults, so my question is.... where to start??!! May be where the sunroof drain was broken in passenger footwell? Any advice gratefully received all
