Incontrol subscription renewal question

I've had a few emails from JLR over the last few days telling me my incontrol subscription is due to run out tomorrow 27/04/2020 but when I looked in to renewing it I read that the incontrol comes with the car and lasts for the term of the manufacture warranty which is still current for another month as the car wasn't registered until the end of May 2017.

Anyone shed any light on this or is it just JLR trying to rob me of a months subscription ? 2017 SVR. SVO Scafell grey Ebony interior

They probably registered it wrong, or when they did the PDI. Look on the InControl app on your phone, it will give you the subscription expiry dates. If it’s wrong get the dealer to correct it. RRS MY17 SDV6 AB

The renewal date on my phone is 27/04/2020 the same as the emails I've had from JLR. What I don't understand is why it runs out a month before the warranty as it states in the incontrol subscription email that it runs out when the warranty does.

Will try and ring them tomorrow and find out. 2017 SVR. SVO Scafell grey Ebony interior

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

As posted it is only a minor timing issue, the renewal cost is not a great deal.
Trying to get it changed runs the risk of a big screw up and loss of service!

It's more to do with the fact when I first bought the car the dealer didn't seem to know when it was first registered and due to a private plate it took some time to find out.

Then to add to the mystery its annual service records are all in July and not May when it was registered. Dealer is more than useless at answering anything to do with the car which considering they supplied it new you would of thought they would of had records of dates and specs.

It's bad when the dealer can't tell you what colour the car is other than Grey and it takes a week to find out which grey it is ! 2017 SVR. SVO Scafell grey Ebony interior

Have since managed to find out it was activated on the day it was in the workshop for its PDI, this was a month before the car was registered hence renewal being early and not when the car is classed as 3 years old. 2017 SVR. SVO Scafell grey Ebony interior
