TYDV8 Inlet maniforld repair engine wont fire

Hi

Has anyone replaced the inlet manifold ( cracked ) ans had issues with non firing

Stripped mine down to replace the inlet, buttoned it all back up and it turns over but wont fire, rechecked all plugs etc, cracked injectors, pulling fuel through but still nothing.

WD down the throttle bodies still nothing, not even a sign of choke

Any ideas?

Cheers

Gerry

Last one I done took around 30 seconds of cranking to fire up

Otherwise, it's highly likely you have left a plug off someplace

Favourite would be the cam sensor at the back of the head. Guess how I know Laughing

Do you have access to a code reader at all?

Cant see the cam sensor, it coughed and spluttered there but still nothing, racking my brain with this one

Cam sensor is on the back of the passenger side head

But if it coughed, it's not likely to be that.

I'll be honest, without at least a basic code reader, you'll be Censored in the wind...

Aye kind f guessed that

Have you ever came across this.

Was spraying fuel down the throttle and, turned it over and it just stopped dead, now all it does is click from somewhere?

Thinking starter but not sure.

Tried it this morning and it just clicks, nothing from it
