Hi all,

Does anyone know if there has to be a minimum / max temp for the timed climate to work properly? I've not tried it with the remote so thought I would randomly give it a go however a slow flashing red light on the fob indicates an error (although I can't find a definitive answer on what the error might be).

I've used it before by setting it from within the car but never the remote.

Any guidance much appreciated.

Hi,

Flashing red means the car hasn’t received and actioned your “on” commend.

Try getting closer, or re-pair the remote.

I usually leave mine set to 22deg and “auto” on the climate.

No problems.

Have you tried using the remote App, it starts the engine, but at least it’s better than a cold car.

Thanks for the reply. Any idea how you re-pair the fob, might be worth a try?

I need to get a dealer to reset I think as the previous owner has already set a pin code so the remote app is not currently an option - cheers

Hi,

1. The previous owner or the dealer should have removed the vehicle from their account so you should have a blank canvas.

2. To pair a fob, you pull one of the fuses for the FBH, wait a few seconds, put it back in and press the remote button within 10 secs and it should pair. You can find better details by searching the ‘net.

3. I just found this - it’s on aFF site but says it’s for a L494:-
