Internal 'ticking' on turning

Hi All,

Picked up my 1st ever RRS1 2013 3L Autobiography Saturday and so far loving it.

There is however a weird strange 'tick' coming from inside the vehicle when cornering or changing direction. It sounds a bit like a relay click from somewhere in the back or boot.

Is there some sort of tilt detection system which would make this noise? Its hardly loud or distracting but if there's an issue i'd rather know..

Thanks in advance.

Pete.

The tilt detection is limited to two accelerometers (neither in the boot) and a yaw sensor (also not in the boot). 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Perhaps it's the load cover? Mine isn't a tight fit in the side trim and does make a noise as it moves from side to side, especially when its been removed and refitted. 2010 TDV8 - current - my first RRS, loving it so far......
2005 Cayenne S - handling defied physics and what a sound, so sod the mpg!
1995 Disco TDI- surprisingly reliable, shame about the peeling dash & other trim
Lots of other non 4X4's in between times.........

Or the rear seat belt has moved down the side of seat? This has the habit to cause a rattle.

Also, are you sure it's inside the car and not a suspension component? Kev

Never have it turned it on, it does sound like a relay actuating though..

Good call actually, didn't notice the ticking on the test drive and it didn't have one fitted then so i had to go back and collect from the dealer.

I'll get rid of it for a couple of days.

The seat belt i'll have a look at. Pretty sure its within the car so i'll try the other elimination suggestions first.

Thanks everyone.
