Reverse, Green wire with Brown Tracer Pin No.2 on main harness side of connector plug, Earth, Black wire Pin No.5. Not sure what the actual single colour's are on the lamp unit itself is, but If you connect it to the main harness side you will not have to disturb it if you need to remove the rear lamp for any reason or that's what I did at least on a previous sport.

What's not the black? really helpful so which colour is it on the lamp? the one which corresponds with pin no. 2 on the plug or goes to the reverse light bulb I imagine, at a guess I would say the green one

I was being helpful.
Black is earth, so its not that. Providing owner has the correct bulb holder, then yes, green. As said, personally I wouldn't connect there. But for DIY I can see its easy. I would connect behind the rear left panel inside the car (away from water). or piggy back into a fuse behind the glovebox if I wanted a conenction at the front |

Yeah, sorry was a bit sharp, I was thinking more in response to part of my initial reply as opposed to the op original question, never really read that fully . Been a long day.

Yes the head unit has a cam input but I needed to fill that open space , — and it’s a longer movement of the eyes way down there lol 😂 |
