if it's not one thing it's another...

Well on my way to work this morning i had the dash warning of "Only Normal Height is available" so hooked up my GAP tool and got Code C1131-92 (AF) Air supply - Component failiure - performance or incorrect operation...

This along with the jammed parking brake which i cant remove) is going to be expensive even fixing myself... Big Cry

Evening all,

Strange one, the fault has disappeared when I got in the car to come home. it's still logged in the ECU memory but not displaying on the dash.

This morning the Gallery was showing as 99kpa, yet this evening was holding steady around 250kpa going up to off road height evenly without any apparent issues.

so with the above rolling out a leaking tank / pipe / struts (phew) it leaves me with potential intermittent valve / compressor.

Has anyone else had the same symptoms and fixed it?

There's apparently a filter that can get blocked over time. Depending on your compressor you can get a service/repair kit I believe.

What is this gallery btw? Where can you get a pressure read out on your compressor - via GAP?

A common fix for D4 owners..here:-

It's worth a search on the D4 side of the forum for AirSus faults and mechanical issues. 2011 MY D4 HSE

Thanks Bardley & Pufftmw, I have searched the usual forums but didnt find anything with an intermitant fault with the same code.

I didnt seach specifically for the dryer so did not see that post. however the sport has covered 170K miles so not expecting it to be like new..... also as an FYI i am wanting to change my struts in the furutre to improve the handling and ride comfort.
