Can any member please advise me on the Paint details for the RRS 2005-09 Tailgate Bottom Trim.

The Grey Silvery trim with RANGE ROVER logo on it.

If known who would stock this paint in Aerosol Can.

It is self coloured pu/plastic not painted, the colour is Tungsten, and there is no exact colour code for it, not by L/R at least. Look better colour coded to body.

Rubbed down the scratches and found black plastic underneath the coating. you are correct will probably be better in body colour.  Happiness is driving a RRS

I had the same problem, so I wrapped it in carbon look vinyl, and it looks much better.

How do know if the knocking at the front has been sorted?

You can hear the knocking at the rear better

Thanks for the tip.

I had already prepped and painted the Tailgate Bottom Trim with grey primer £7.95.

Bought online a 400ml spray can of my cars colour code £14.99 and gave a few coats.

Finally gave a few coats of lacquer 5.99 to finish the paint job.

To complete purchased Lettering Kit for RANGE ROVER Sport Rear Tailgate £6.50.

This gives the vehicle a great look with body colour Tailgate Trim. Total Cost 35.53. Happiness is driving a RRS

At last has stopped raining enough to take photo. Original Grey Trim and my newly colour coded Rimini Red Trim

Nice job - looks great! 2010 TDV8 - current - my first RRS, loving it so far......
2005 Cayenne S - handling defied physics and what a sound, so sod the mpg!
1995 Disco TDI- surprisingly reliable, shame about the peeling dash & other trim
Lots of other non 4X4's in between times.........

Looks so much better.
