Who's tyres are getting tired?

Got 17k miles on my 19" (girly tyres.....yes, I know before you all start) but looks as though I won't reach 20k without having to replace them all.

Anybody had to change them already?

Yep Sad

26k and one and half sets replaced already. Looks like the front two will need to be done soonish too if I don't move the RRS on quickly. I've never had a car that wears tyres so much.... I've had new brake pads all round too already.

They came from the factory with Scorpions but due to supply issues have replaced with Contis.

I estimate about 17-18k on the tyres and I don't drive in a manor that would wear them quickly! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

I suppose I do... which is why I've nearly been through two sets Wink And most of my travel is motorways/A roads, so I suppose that wears tyres quicker too? I had my M3 18 months and didn't have to swap any of them - they were still legal when I chopped it in.

I think you're doing well. My merc before this went through a full set in 6K.

Therefore I'm pleased with the wear.

Mind you VA I wish I had a "Manor" like you Wink TDV6 - gone

Remember Gonzo from the Muppets? He used to eat rubber tyres (to the Flight of the Bumblebee)!

I'd be pleased with 17-20k a set. My Touareg struggled to last 10k before uneven wear set in
