Incontrol wi-fi - I've set my phone up as a hotspot for the car to connect to , will the car connect automatically or do i have to manually connect each time?

When playing music from Spotify via CarPlay, will it automatically continue playing after stopping the car, parking up and then getting back in, like it does when played via normal methods?

The InControl account hasn't been transferred over to me yet, the car was registered late 2018, is it worth renewing the subscription when it expires?

You get 3 years before you have to renew.

If you don’t renew the basic, you lose the ability to “remote start” which is reason enough to renew for me. You may want to pay more and renew incontrol secure as well.

You’ll also have to renew the map subscription if you want to continue to have live traffic updates.

The car will connect automatically to WiFi - mine does when on the drive.

iPhones automatically disable the hotspot when not used though, until you go back to the hotspot page. I think Android phones leave it running. So it won’t be seamless with an iPhone. RRS MY17 SDV6 AB
