This doesn't surprise me. When I took delivery of my RRS, I got a LR Australia handbook pack. When I phoned the dealer to tell him, he said that they were out of stock of UK handbooks. When he mm'd and ah'd at me about how he could get his hands on the proper UK ones, I had to give him the part numbers direct from the owner info site. He was so impressed that one of his customers could come up with the part numbers for documents. Explaining that I only got them from the owner info site, I could hear his eyes glaze over at the mention of the internet. To this day, I don't have my replacement manuals and had to resort to printing them myself. Doesn't quite fit in the nice little leather wallet quite so easily, either...

Considering that Land Rover says on their web site they plan on updating the phone compatibility list about every 6 months and the last one is dated July 05, it will probably be early next year before they release a new list. By that time, most phones on it will likely be outdated and no longer available... |
