I'm very happy with mine. 6,000 miles in 6 months. No problems what so ever. Superb drive.

I now do alot of night driving on country roads and I have to say the driving position and headlights are the best I've ever had. The whole experience is damn good.

Sorry VA, still can't see a need for your additional driving lamps.

Malaysia 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Chawton White

3 months on and 6000+ kilometres. Very happy with the performance. There's always the 'could have been/done better' things but I suppose that will happen with any car.

For night driving I've upgraded the headlamp high beam and front fog lamp bulbs. Bright enough for me now! Laughing Malaysia Boleh!

Hi Bobby,

what type of bulbs did you use for the fog lamps? I live not far from two rivers (the Isar and the Amper) and we are getting some real pea soupers here so it may be handy to know what you used.

Did you not have the Xenon headlights? Mine are excellent for night driving, even taking the "tracks" through the woods(which drives my wife mad!!! Laughing )

Hi canaryman,

I do have B-Xenon headlights. Unfortunately, the high beam incorporates 55W halogen bulbs, which are not good enough.

The front fog lamps too use 55W halogens, H11 type. I changed this to Philips CrystalVision, 4100K. Very bright! Laughing
The package comes with 2 W5W bulbs too and you can use these to replace the existing front side lamps' bulbs.

Just last weekend I realized how good this car is! I took it off roading up some mud ruts, firetrails and creek crossings.....nothing I threw at it went close to stopping this car. Twidle the terrain response here and there and bingo away she goes! Very Happy

Anyone that has one of these cars and has not taken it off road, you are missing out on what is probably this cars finest hour!

I have had my fairshare of issues with mine, all could be classified as niggly or annoying. No tow trucks or Roadside Assist yet....touchwood! Cool RRS TDV6 Bluetooth, VR, Roof

Not Happy Mad

I've been away over the weekend & as i dont travel that far on a day to day basis - it was time for me to give it a blast.

How dissappointed I was -

For starters - the bloody wipers Twisted Evil I even went to the lengths of replacing these from new as they made such a noise. But , it rained solidly all the way from Nuneaton to Reading ....... the noise was unbearable!

Next , vibration. I have moaned about feeling a slight clonk throught the steering column which is noticeable around town. , but now I regularly suffer from vibration at 80 - 90mph This was so annoying as the car just sits there in the outside lane "cruising" at this speed. So either slow down = NO !!! or speed up to ............... well no thanks I don't want to lose my licence Rolling Eyes

The whole journey was a disappointment and not as relaxing as I am used to when commuting. GGggrrrrr Mad

I do like the comanding view though especially as it pee'd it down with rain all the way to reading........... a feel safe factor the RRS oozes in abundance, but quality...................... i'm affraid not!

Sorry Bobby but I forgot to ask, if you have the Bi Xenon headlights, what type of bulb is the 55w headlight bulb (the non-xenon one) (I have not got my car or manual here at the moment) thanks Very Happy

Wife 1.2 has a bug in it which induces shouting when the car veers off the tarmac. There's a service pack, which you need to install via Au Pair 1.0 Wink

I found au pair 1.0 very unstable. Have tried the 2.0-8.0 without any luck. Mrs VA has just ordered the new Manny 1.0 from NZ! Shocked Shocked 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
