I had similar HDC errors when I purchased mine, engine always span over well and stated but kept getting warning lights whilst cranking. Checked the battery voltage while cranking and it was about 9volts, new battery and all is good, still only 10.5volts but no errors and engine spins faster.

10.5V ? Sounds like the alternator is dead. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

10.5V at rest, yes.. 10.5V during cranking, however, seems to be fairly normal - with a brand new battery and brand new Denso alternator (which isn't doing anything during cranking, really). Prior to battery change I also had 9V during cranking and the odd christmas-tree moment |

Sorry, missed the "cranking" bit in the previous post. |
