TPMS

I’ve took my 22s off and replaced with 20s with GG AT3 on but no TPMS valves. I’m getting TPMS fault and the amber triangle each time on startup. If I get some valves and have them fitted will the car find them or will they need pairing.
Thankyou in advance

Tpms

The car will find them, I have two sets of wheels and the car just pairs with them all by itself. L494 2016 model.

If you still have your original wheels you could remove them & refit in new wheels, any one with a tyre machine can do them as you only need to break the outer bead, easy enough job. Andy.

Thanks for your reply but I’m being greedy and having two sets 😂. One for road and one for winter/playing

Serial numbers correspond?
All worked fine for a few miles. Found the new tyres then got the TPMS fault. Now get all the time 🙄

could the tyre fitter have damaged a sensor fitting the tyres as the tyre has to be in a certain position on the tyre machine so they don’t get damaged. Andy.

If it was just one sensor would the system not say which wheel position it was?

Cheers

It’s unlikely he has damaged all four and it did work for a few minutes

If you have two sets of wheels, I realise it's a bit of work but is it worth re fitting your original wheels to see if the car is finds them ok. if it does it indicates sensors, if not then possibly the problem is the car system itself as the new ones worked originally for a short time and purely coincidence it played up after fitting the new wheels/sensors. Only a suggestion.

Cheers
Col
