Regards to all, read lots of posts about this but still need to check, if I put front and rear cams in MY12 RRS will the sockets turn of shortly after the ignition, the cams use there inbuilt if they sense movement.
I was at work and woman stuck her Nissan cashki (wrong spelling) in the left wing, estimator says wing replacement, new wheel, bumper repair and various bits, she did leave a note, feel like I have been stabbed, just starting to calm down. Sorry for the rant.

Then the car went yesterday. 😭

Yes, the accessory sockets will switch off with the ignition. As you have a cam that will wake up when it detects movement, you are best of using a hardware kit to prevent your battery draining to a level where the car may not start and wire into a permanent live in the passenger side cabin fusebox.
