This will be a DPF Euro 5 car.

No need to apologise, you were correct, 8th digit a "G" Thumbs Up
The end tips to the exhaust pipes on mine looked like they were straight through, but actually went over the down curve at the end of the pipe so that the exhaust gases were directed downwards. Bit of a con really, and I soon got rid.

Found this from a previous post of mine;
AFAIK, the non-DPF had the down turned exhaust pipes and the DPF equipped ones were straight (mine is non-DPF and down turned). The definitive indication is that there is a letter in the VIN number which indicates if it is equipped with one or not. I did have that on my check list when looking for mine, but can't find it now, obviously Embarassed

Edit; Found it after a bit of Google-Fu. The eighth digit will be "F" without a DPF, and "G" with a DPF (mines F)

Hope this helps with the question.

Thanks for this information, I was worried mine did have a dpf, mines a facelift 59 plate with down turned exhaust and the 8th digit is a ‘F’, so that’s one less worry for me.

I’m not sure this is correct, mine has a ‘f’ but I’ve just been to a Land Rover specialist to check an oil leak and they told me mine does have a dpf.

Might be helpful to fill in your profile so that people can see what car you have when replying Thumbs Up
It just goes to show how confusing it is with them. When I did my research, I was looking at the VIN, and those without a DPF had the turned down exhausts, and those with it had straight through tailpipes. I'm happy mine doesn't, over 2 years of short journeys, no issues. It gets a decent run every now and again, but mostly local trips which would have no chance of a natural regen. I had my Gen 9.5 IDTEC Civic for about 9 months doing the same journeys and had at least 2 regens and that engine was designed to have a DPF by all accounts, whereas the V6's in these cars weren't.
I personally have no idea what a DPF looks like on these cars, presumably your specialist does.

Apologies to the OP for the divergence of his sales thread, maybe better starting a new one.
At least it gets a bump!

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Hi. Just joined this forum and I’m looking for a car for my son.
Is this car still available and if so, what’s the mileage now?
Thanks
