I jkeep toying with this as i have a nanocom for the D2 - basically i think the main difference is that the IID tool can write direct to the CCF (Car Confidg File) whilst with the nanaocm you have to go onto the BBS site and write yourself a new CCF, download it and then push it to the car with the nanocom.

I guess that's the big question. I suppose neither would be used that often - only when the car has a paddy and stops doing what it's supposed to or decides to do something it isn't!!

Thats the thing for me - I think the nanacom has the ability to allow you to make a spectacular cock up of it all very easily - the IID tool not so much but the £200 price difference is significant 2012 SDV6 HSE (technically its hers)
