guess I am spoilt, have had lots of BMW's so finding parts numbers was easy just go to www.bmwpartsonline.com enter vin number and boom exploded diagrams and all the part numbers listed. so I guess what im asking is there anything like that for Land Rover its seems to be very difficult to find diagrams and part numbers.

I think so, but I may be wrong as I think the illustration I posted is for the facelift variant. If you google the number may bring up a picture.

Found this one, strange, had a look on L/R's system and they don't appear to list it prior to Vin.9A999999 unless it was an integral part of the cup holder on earlier models.

It seems likely that it is not a separate part and may have to look for used complete cupholder for this piece or scavenge ebay for someone breaking one willing to let me have it lol. I am needing cupholder inserts also so it may be cheaper to find a complete one on ebay with all these parts attached.

Out of curiosity had a look at my car facelift car and it's a round shape same as the one in the picture you posted, not sort of "snowman" shape, couldn't think of the proper description. Hopefully someone will post a picture of theirs for you.

Just noticed you now have a RRS1 facelift car. watch what you pay for the actual cup holders people ask far more for s/h ones on ebay than you can by new from L/R.

I think you will find the OP now has a facelift RRS1 10-13 unfortunately they are a different shape on the newer cars, in addition I believe L/R decided to confuse things even more by part way through changing the colour of them from meteor grey to ebony black but could be wrong on that one, so he might need to find a S/H one from his specific vin. range as anything prior to CA000001 will be the grey anything after will be the black.
