My RRS SDV6 3.0 L SE from may 2019 upgraded to this version over the air on the 4G network yesterday december 23, aparently no problems and no bugs so far.
For info I am in France and my car is a French model bought in France from the main JLR dealer in Montpellier

I guess this 19C_19.46.4-458817 is the latest version, has anybody got anything newer???
It must be a minor upgrade only correcting bugs because there is no visible change compared with the previous version
Ony notable thing is that you have to log in again to your in control account after the upgrade, but all your previous configurations are not changed

It looks like JLR finally figured out the OTA upgrades because this is the third one I received in the last 3 months and all were OK so aparently no more need to go to the dealer to have the latest in control firmware revision, hopefully including all the new functionalities and of course a minimum of bugs’.......
It should save money, time and above all endless arguments with JLR dealers

Jimbg - you seem to be the expert on the Incontrol features my Incontrol premium - protect- Pro services & secure are all paid up to 28/3/20 but my sat nav is saying the licence has expired - how do I renew that - via the infotainment centre in v sport ? I can’t find the option on Landrover.comowners/navigation

The standard 3 year subscription had ran out & I needed to create a separate account via Landrover.com for a separate satnav subscription. I’m not going to do it this evening due to being slightly intoxicated 🥴 but may try tomorrow or Boxing Day. I need to register via the infotainment screen in the sport which will no doubt cost me

Apparently this update fixes the last one or two of 19B that made the OTA menus disappear on some cars (like mine).

Time will tell as mine is sat in the dealership waiting for this and a telematics update to be flashed! Non JLR Vehicle

By the way what is the telematics update? What does it do? Does it have to be done by the dealer? How do we know when and if it is required?
On my car there is a mention of it and a version number as well as an option to update it but this option does nothing and it does not seem to do anything either when the car performs an OTA update
What shall i do to update this telematics?

Telematics update updates the Telematics Unit in the car which controls the 4G/WiFi/InControl Remote and other connectivity parts of the car.

According to Land Rover this should be remote updateable but as of now it still isn't, needs to go into a dealer. Non JLR Vehicle

To avoid the usual BS from the dealer regarding whether this update is done or not, Do you know what is the latest telematics version ?? as apparently you updated yours recently, you should have the latest version
Mine is version 14.2 and always was since the car is new, what about yours??

I've seen 16.2 and 17.2 on vehicles, not sure if 17.2 is for RRS but I saw 17.2 on an iPace.

Definitely at least 16.2 though and possibly 17.2 and maybe even more now as that was a few months ago!
