Have I imagined it or have I heard there's factory-fitted provision ("fitted for but not with") for an aux battery? It's a shame the ABS is in the box in the engine bay.

The aux battery fits in the space by the master cylinder - there's even a tray and hold down points there already for your use. It's a smaller battery than the standard one, of course. Usually an Optima yellow top is used (or similar). 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Aha. Thanks, Wayne. Not an awful lot of room, but I'm sure I can work something out. Where will I stash the drugs and guns if that area is full?
